School Fetes

School Fete Guide for southern QLD & northern NSW

So, you’ve decided to have a school fete or fun day.

What a fantastic way to bring the local community together, foster school spirit, showcase the school, teachers and principal and raise much needed funds.

Or maybe you’re just thinking about it, well either way we can help out.  We can meet you at the school, help present ideas and suggestions to school principals or P & C Committees.

If you don’t have a P & C, P & F or Fete Committee, well that’s not problem, were happy to help you organise, co-ordinate and run the event, big or small.  We can do as little or as much as you need.

When you are ready to get started we have put together the following school fete guide to help you along the way, if you get stuck or need help at any stage, just let us know and we’ll make it happen.

This how to guide is a great start for anyone wanting to run successful school fetes.

Fete Co-ordinator

Fete CoordinatorSome schools particularly smaller schools have a fete co-ordinator, often a teacher, who organises the event with other teachers and parents helping in the leadup and on the day.

Larger schools tend to have a fete committee that is usually made up of members of the P & C or P & F Committee with some additions if required.

The fete committee would then have a chairperson, secretary and treasurer along with other members who would normally be assigned tasks such as rides and amusements co-ordinator, entertainment, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising, food and stalls co-ordinators.

Each of these co-ordinators can then have assistants as required.  As the old saying goes:  many hands make light work.

If you don’t have a P & C, P & F or Fete Committee, well that’s not problem, we’re happy to help wherever we can or recommend an event planner who can assist as required.
